My granddad on my dads side was an air raid warden. While of my two great uncles, one was a flak guner who says he neer saya Gereman. The other was one of those captured at Singapore straight off the boat. I never got to speake to him, but i guess he would have been in the Royal Norfolk. He was forced to work on the Burma Railway.
