I was recently visiting my great uncle when he showed me a whole bunch of pictures he took during the war and alot of them showed captured germans. They were taken near the end of the war between March and May 45.
My uncle was in the U.S 97 div. Could any one tell me or give me a idea of which german units opposed them since I my search has come up to nothing. Also I noticed in the pictures that alot of the germans wear wearing camo uniforms not smocks which looked like an SS pattern. I'm still trying find nore out of the pictures but they are old and very small.
