i agree withyou about americas industrail capability and thats WHY america became a superpower because tha war and things like lend-lease help america discover this and the fact that the rest of the worlds previous major powers lay in ruins probably helped but not much, it was inevitable. I said earlier one of britains biggest contributions to the winning of the war was down to geography and here it is again ONE of the thing that helped america to emerge al mighty after the war was, geography.

one another note, or rather back to a previous one here is just a example of americas industrail power over somewhere like britain; aircraft carriers(and other naval ship) in america when geared up they could produce say a aircraft carrier in under a year but in britain it could take upto 2 years just shows doesnt it.
