FUBAR - F***** Up Beyond All Recognition

I know there are more in this category...just don't know which ones...

UDT - Underwater Demolition Team (WW2 forerunner of today's Navy Seals)

LMF - Lack of Moral Fibre - Term used in RAF (and maybe other services) for individuals who couldn't take the strain and stress anymore of flying combat and were posted away due to 'LMF'...(note, off topic: This, in hindsight, seems rather cruel, if you know these people were demoted and given the shittiest of jobs. I know, different times,...but still. Does anybody know how the Americans dealt with cases like these and how it was looked upon? Mod.: Do move this post if you see the need...)

And Otto, sorry for that BIG steel plate in front of my face with regards to my earlier post in this thread... And same to you Erich...See what you get with 'selective reading'...Guess I should get my money back for that speed reading course....
