For the Wehrmacht in WW II the title "Jäger" is really more an honorific than a functional title. That is, Jäger units were simply infantry. Jäger divisions that were raised were originally 2 regiment 3 battalion organizations with reduced services and a slight increase in motorization to give them more mobility. They ended up in service operating as infantry divisions. The Luftwaffe gave this title to regiments in their Field Divisions as well. These certainly didn't meet any higher standard of training or equipment differentiating them from other infantry formations. If you want a TO&E for a Jäger Division I can post one.
