Sorry, I forget the regiment, but his great book the Moon is Blue or the Moon is a Balloon, is an excellent acount of his early years in the army, hillarious at times and ends with him in Germany in Phantom I believe? Sorry for interrupting quiz but if you have not read that book your missing out big time...
