Ha ha. Correct!

Josef Stalin's oldest son, Yakov Dzhugashvili (Stalin's original last name was Dzhugashvili), was captured by the Nazis in 1941. The Nazis offered Stalin a trade: the release of a German general for the return of Yakov, his son. Unfortunately for Yakov and for millions of other captured Russians, Stalin believed all captured soldiers were betrayers - possible spies. Stalin refused the trade. Yakov died in 1943; he was shot while trying to escape from the Nazi concentration camp of Sachsenhausen. For over half a century, Yakov's family had not known his fate. the U.S. handed over the information about his death to Galina Dzhugashvili, Yakov's daughter.

Over to you TA152
