The German war machine had swept away the allies in the west they felt on top of the world no one can beat us more to do with better equipment and training and radical thinking. Brainwashing the belief they were the master race was in the long term to back fire on them along the lines the dream came a vision which turned in to a nightmare.

German scientists were ahead of the allies but when Hitler made cut backs this was be a bad move it is believed if this was not the case new weapons would have reached the front line quicker EG 1942 The Panther Tank & 1943 The ME-262 Jet Fighter along with The Type XXI U-Boat and so on.

When Hitler ordered long term cut backs this gave the Allies the chance to catch up of course there is the other side of the coin German research in the area of the A-Bomb was well behind just a well it was.
