Hi to all,

well things got a bit held up with a couple of relatives who decided to depart right on Christmas but I'm now ready to send off for my father-in-laws army records. It says on the official site that the information you receive back is quite brief so please can you give me some pointers on what you would ask as it says they will answer direct questions providing they're not too personal, lol.

I was thinking along the lines of:

What regiment? (will get that anyway I'm sure)
Theatre of war?
