Yeah, you might be confronted with some authority-bashers. But I guess that when you know what you are talking about and don't let them drive you crazy, they will get the point....I know we made some newly graduated new teacher's life hell, but it is all about respect. You will be better able to relate to these kids than many old teachers...That'll give you an edge.
Good stuff to be teaching them history. I am sure you'll do a good job. Passion about the subject is so important. If you can bring that across, the facts will follow.
