Stevin - that's really great ! The day after my visit, my copy of the 447th BG history arrived from the USA. I'm really looking forward to reading this as I hadn't studied the 447th too much before.

I was interested to see that April 29, 1944 was their worst day, losing 11 B-17s over Berlin, many apparently to the Sturmgruppe.

Farmer Mr Watts is apparently very heavily involved with the BG Association, who still hold reunions at Rattlesden on a bi-annual basis.
