The 36th Inf Div had several Medal of Honor Recipients as well. One of them I found out too late--didn't live very far from where I do. He passed away a week before I found out that he was living in San Antonio.

Oh and especially for your info--that division also sent a Sergeant whom I knew (now deceased) who served as one of Pres Roosevelts Honor Guard. His name is Greg Wiley--if anyone wants to look him up.

He passed away about 10 or so years ago--his widow still lives in Kingsville, Texas.
