I would have wanted to serve in Europe.

If I was in the D Day invasion I would have most likely wanted to serve with a Pathfinder unit or Airborne Unit. 82nd or 101st.

I wouldn't have wanted to be in the first waves of the beach landings, particularly Omaha.
