I've Given this some thought! I know Uboats suffered the biggest causualty rates so I would not be there, does anyone know what combat unit suffered the least casualties? I would have volunteered for that!

Otherwise I could see myself with a spitfire the googles, and perfumed scarf from my sweetheart. Sipping tea on the lawn waiting for the call to take on the jerries! Yep thats it RAF 'ground crew' for me!

Only Joking, I am definetly an infantry man, would have joined up the infantry and marched to war, I'm a born complainer and I would have had plenty to complain about, marching, marching and more marching!
