I think that there are not quite a lot books on the subject, BUT all Stalingrad book must mention all the battles in the Crimea, Sebastopol, Khárkov and Rostov and the campaign in the Caucasus. If there is a book of Stalingrad which does not mention them, then the book sucks! I will recomend you to look in some of those books. Well, even if they focus mostly in Stalingrad, they are obligued to mention the other battles which influentiated much in Stalingrad.
