I am trying to learn who commanded the German 34th Infantry Division on 2 May 45 when it surrendered to the American 34th Infantry Division in northwestern Italy.

I vaguely remember somewhere online a list showing two names in the latter stages of the war, but no specific dates were given.

Order of Battle information for the Division would also be appreciated.
