I've just been reading the blurb on a new book-
The Longest Night by Gavin Mortimer. This is another recounting of the Blitz, but a strange thing was mentioned. It was stated that there still remain wartime air raid shelters in London which were sealed with the victim's bodies still inside. I've NEVER heard of this before- and to be honest I find it extremely unlikely- but you never know.
Anyone got any more info on this story-Martin?
