Sure Ta 152,

there are some war films around...

This is always about one´s taste but heres some Finnish war films and I try to put them in the order what´s most liked and so on

1. The Unknown soldier ( Tuntematon sotilas in Finnish ) based on the novel by Väinö Linna of the same title.

Film made in 1955 is the traditonal Finnish war movie that was/is shown on our independence day.

The movie was done "again" in 1985 and is good but the tradition with the first film never fades...

2.Winter War

Excellent movie from 1989. You can feel the madness of war here...

3.

The Road of Rukajärvi

About the war in continuation war of a Finnish leutenant who finds the war as a personal revenge as her wife is in the hands of Russian partisans...a bit Hollywoodish but nice battle scenes...

---------

I think these are the most famous at the moment...
