That is a neat shot Carl !! I have a book on Davis Monthan AFB and it says most of the B-52's are the D models and a few F and G models. Only the H model is flow now days.

The book also says that once a month you can take an all day tour on a bus and take pictures of the aircraft. I don't think you can get off the bus due to the rattlesnakes but it would be a fun trip to do some day.

You can also look up your house picture on that site also or other military bases.

The book says there are 228 B-52's (book published in 1987) and a total of 2,512 military aircraft stored there. I am sure with all the down sizing of the military the number is higher. In 1987 it says that 170 F-4's were there but I am sure there are many more now unless they used them for targets.
