It would be the average age, (or perhaps the most typical age), of all US fatalities wouldn’t it Kai? Like you I’ve heard the age 19 often quoted, but I don’t remember seeing a statistical chart at any time?

If WWII averages 26, I bet WWI was younger? I understand when the first BEF was being sent to France/Belgium, (WWII), they subsequently issued an amendment stating only those aged 21 and over could go.
