I have only some brief info on my grandfathers, here's one:

He's the officer - LIEUTENANT L.G. GARDNER, this was taken on the 25-Oct-1941 in JEBEL TOURBEL, SYRIA when he was serving with the AIF 2/31ST INFANTRY BATTALION

and one of my great uncles (my grandmothers brother) this is the pages from the 6 Commando site that lists some of his service record.
