Re: Rommel signature

As we are obviously speaking of the good field marshall, and not his son, value would be dependent upon what was signed. For example, a letter might not bring the same value as an award document.
Also, for those who may not remember, Erwin Rommel was known for signing nearly all, if not all, documents, orders, letters, maps, etc. in pencil, not ink, and his signature does indeed bring about a rather fetching price.
As for me, there is nothing finer than to have had the opportunity to have been able to write many personalities from the period of the Third Reich, and receive from them in person, a post war autographed photo, book, etc. Sadly, many of these individuals have passed on since then, but I have these autographs such as Erich Topp, Adolf Galland, Traudl Junge, Otto Gunsche, etc. etc. to remember them by.
