A combination of two scenes for Drama/Wow/sales.
The fighter bombers in the movie attacked the anti-tank gun positions that ambushed 30 Corp on the road, (the wide part). Whether they did or not...I don't know.
The other scene is of Arnhiem (sp) bridge, and the first counter attack by German armor, which was repulsed by the paratroopers...alone.
