Going on that scenario, I would say that Germany would have been able to put up a solid defense. The Poles had no armour to be speak of and the Russians really only had their light tanks and the T-35 which was wholely unreliable. 80% of the T-35 casualties during Barbarossa were from breakdowns and not from combat. That would leave infantry. The Germans had superior air power at this time with good artillery and the Pzkfw II was good for the period with the Mk III coming out in numbers. The only question would be if Germany had the necessary supplies to follow through a lengthy counterattack.
