A bit of info about Dean Smith and Ed Faulkner.

Den Smith is also a Rodeo Star and travels the rodeo circuit and I think he lives here in Texas. IF you want to see who he is, just watch Rio Lobo. He playes the Confederate Soldier named Bidey.

Ed Faulkner is easy to I.D. as well--if your not familiar with him. He was a Yankee Sergeant in Shennandoah w/ James Stewart etc. The scene he was in was where The Boy, and his Negro friend, had just ran quite a distance after watching a small battle. They were trying to drink some water from a pond or river-when a group of yanks came up behind them--taking The Boy into custody--and freeing his friend--whoi in turn-ran and told The Boys family what happened. BTW, James Stewarts role in Shennandoah was originally written for John Wayne-sho turned it down because of other movies he was making. Also, you will see a few others in that movie who were in many of Dukes movies from the 30's to the 70's including: PAul Fix, PAt Wayne, Harry Carey Jr, and some others.

Back to Ed Faulkner, he made his riches investing in real estate and is now a billionnaire. Oh and I almost forgot, if you don't know what he looks like, watch The Green Berets and he is the Colonels aide--rank of Captain.
