I was reading the other day that Jews in most European nations and the world for that matter were treated as second class citizens at best until the early 20th century. Weird.

I think that Germany would have had to been a more naval power minded nation in a Europe without Asia. There would have been no distractions to the Mediterranean operations nor England. I wouldn’t be surprised if after the fall of France and loss of Egypt and other holdings England started to listen to peace offers.
