So, both the communists and the Jews were enemies but only sequentially. Without the communists, the nazis could not come into power and conduct their war on the Jews. If the communists were not around from the beginning, then I do not think (my opinion) that they could have conducted their war on the Jews with Germans just accepting it. there would be some who would accept it but I also think that there would be public renounciations as well compared to how it really happened.
