OVERLORD - I highly recommend A Bodyguard of Lies by Anthony Cave Brown
- it's a great treatise on the espionage/counter-espionage/disinformation campaign in the lead up to Overlord

UNDERGOUND/RESISTANCE - The Jedburghs by Lt. Col Will Irwin is a real good read about the forerunners of American 'Special Ops'.

-both are really good books.
