Also, another short series that is excellent is one that had only four 2 hr episodes. This series came out in the early 1990's and is called: Battlefields. Not too long after this one came out, they came out with a Battlefields II--which was almost as good as the first short series.

Yeah, the history channel was real good in the 90s, they must have hired some nimrod of a program director because I don't bother watching it anymore, it's crap compared to the old days. My guilty pleasure was Firepower on HC.
Carl, Was BattleFields the one with the compass graphics and the big map in the chapter segments? That series was great also Wings of the Luftwaffe.
BattleLine was good too, didn't it have men from both sides and told their stories?
