Germany and the USSR both had their versions of the bouncing bombs.

The Germans tried to deploy this weapon against the British shipping but was unsuccesful, infact more on the lines of a disaster.

The USSR used this weapon in the sinking of the German anti-aircraft cruiser Niobe in Kotka, Finland on 16 July 1944.
