Many thanks Slipdigit,

They took me about a year to bring to this standard. I've been releasing them from time to time as I worked. Each cemetery had to be identified by reference to the Commonwealth War Graves Commission :: CWGC ::website and Google Earth and also Geoportail for the French Cemeteries. I've attempted where possible to plot the actual gates of the cemetery or if that was not useful then the nearest point you can get to it by car. Many of the cemeteries are in the middle of fields with no roads. Some are in the middle of housing estates completely surrounded by houses. I plotted the biggest ones first and have worked down to the ones with 65 CWGC burials. There are some included which have less.

I would like to plot them all eventually but the smaller they get the harder it is. Luckily GE is getting better all the time.

I looked at plotting UK cemeteries but it is a tremendous task with the vast majority of burials in churchyards all over the country. No really big ones like in France.

Its amazingly difficult to spot chuches on GE when the tower or spire is pointing straight up at you!

cheers all

Bruce
