in december '41 hitler believed the war in russia was about to finish in a matter of days, so a japanese attack would be unnecessary. On the contrary, i'm sure he hoped japan did not attack because he didn't want to share his imminent triumph with anybody else.

Maybe in '42 hitler changed his mind. did germany put more pressure on japan in 42? is there any document on that?
