Actually - I don't think it was...!
Riefenstahl's famous film was made at the 1934
Reichsparteitag, when the events centred on the
Luitpoldhain ( the Zeppelin Field hadn't been built ).
The lights came in '36 ( I think ), '37 and '38 and were the invention of Speer. The gigantic transformer house to drive the lights still exists ( apparently, today it houses an outlet of Burger King !
) - I didn't have time to see it this time round.....
