I know a H.J collector that lives in Oregon. I'll try calling him tonight and see if he can come here and look and if he knows anything about this armband. I still tend to think that that blus stripe means that whoever had this armband, was in a unit of the Hitler Youth. Sorry I don't know the proper terminology for this H.J. group. I remember seeing a referance to them somewhere but since im not an HJ collector; I only paid scant attention to the item-which was BTW, an Officers cap with a blue band around it. One thing I do remember was that I found the site that had the HJ item for sale by going into the links page of this site: blackcrossmilitary.htm Also, you might try contacting Alden or Janet Hamilton @ BCMC and see if they know anything about this armband. They are pretty good at replying.

I just remembered, I think they are properly called the Marine Hitler Youth ~or~ Hitler Youth Marine.
