it must have been terrible for both sides to loose so many friends and then not even have time to mourn them because you had to go back to war. Most new LW recruits had a life expectancy of a few combat hours only, so I guess JG301 never recovered from this mission, because finding recruits was too difficult, not only because there was "nobody" left, but there was neither time, nor petrol to train them any way.
