Bobby Lee aside, The CSA was a country with Montgomery as its capital long before Virginny showed up wanted to be a part of it.

There has been a bit of controversy here for several years since that tag debuted because the "Heart of Dixie" logo is so small, as if they are trying to hide it. State law mandates that it be on all tags. Some people have purchased adhesive strips that say Heart of Dixie and have placed it over that "Stars Fell On..." crap. The Law* is supposed to write tickets for "defacing the tag" but most refuse to do it.

*Southern term used to denote policemen, High Sheriff** or deputies, constables, the FBI or any other member of a law enforcement agency. Used in an sentence: "Slow down Bubba, the Law gon' write you a ticket."

**Another Southern term. It is used to denote the senior law enforcement official in counties. In other areas he simply known as the Sheriff. "I got mouthy with the High Sheriff when he busted up my still and he planted his boot in my butt."
