Hi all,

around 1980 I saw a movie on television here in Australia and have not seen it since nor do I know the name of it . Or even who was in it for that matter

Anyway what I remember of it was that it revolved a round a group of Allied prisoners ( and Im pretty certain it was not the Dirty Dozen). I really only recall the final scene (with maybe a barren hilly terrain as a backdrop?) where these allied cons were wearing German uniforms and were killed unawares by maybe British soldiers. The film faded out to the strains of the wartime song Lili Marlene.


I know its a long shot but does anybody know the movie I am talking about?

Although I cant recall much of it I still remember after all these years that I enjoyed it.


Any help would be great.
