Re: Private Leo Major from Quebec
Thank you, Jocelyn for putting your Dad's story on this forum. I saw a program - probably on the history channel or CBC in which your Dad was interviewed and he told his story about Zwolle. I felt incredibly proud as a I heard the story and have told the tale to others, but had missed his name. I am so glad to know he is still with you and that now I can properly attribute it to him.
My Dad was LAA 2nd Canadian Division, and I am slowly learning his stories. Unfortunately, he passed away in 1996 so I can only learn his stories through reading and hopefully, one day getting his full file, or finding someone still alive who knew him.
Treasure your Dad.
