I don't think you fully realize the sheer magnitude of the manufacturing capability of the US at that time when compared to other beligerants. And then, how long would it have taken them to get any captured resourses east of the Bug into production? They never were able to get much, if any, use of what they captured after 22 June 1941 as it was, unless you count human being as "resourses." And they squandered this by poor policies across the board.
