I watched it with great interest when it aired. That was a unique period in American television - TOCH was the last of the WWII dramatic series from the 1960s (Combat and The Gallant Men being the others that I remember). I was more interested in "air combat" than a story line, and the show usually delivered. Can't imagine a similar show about the Vietnam airwar (though the 1980s Tour of Duty was an attempt at portraying the grunt's war). I haven't seen any episodes since and thus have no current opinion about the series, but a story line has risen in importance to me now !
