Default Re: The Hills of Batogne

G'day mate

I voted good on it purely based on your age

Now if I may offer some constructive critisism. Most of the problems with it appear to be realsim, such as uniforms(which you meantioned), also the 'battles' lack real life effects such as when the shells go off, your 'men' just stand there not even wincing, second one of your men has time to drink from his canteen during the attack what is that all about? The german also appears to struggle with his German language? Your men running down the hill run in pure sight of any enemy and not using proper cover and concealment. Most of it as I said is realsim and small technical details, for eg, A soldier seeks cover ALWAYS, shelling is scary and you attempt to hide from the shells, men move in groups covering each other and continuously check there surroundings for ambushes, even behind there own lines. It just seems a bit 'childish' for a word to use, I have however taken into account of your age and you only learn from criticsism, take or leave it
