Tigger the tank.
Ask my kids to draw a tank & It'll look roughly like a Tiger. The Sherman and Tiger (among others) have acquired a sort of 'legendary' status, but Tigger's legend extends beyond those with a passing (or even obsessive) interest in WW2 and seems to have permeated the wider cultural consciousness of what 'a tank' is.
I'm no 'Tigerite', but on a rainy day at Bovington still joined in the collective 'gasp' whenever 131 ran.
