I was frittering away WAAAAY too much time today, and stumbled on an interesting link or two.
Unlike most things internet, these aren't quick... each recording lasts about 10-15 minutes.
But shut your eyes.... imagine that it's 1943 and your'e a 15 year-old school kid.... Dad's away at the war, flying bombers somewhere in England... and, just like every other evening, you and Mom and grandpa and grandma and weird uncle Larry gather around the radio in the living room and listen to the latest reports.
So, take a few minutes and see how your parents, or your grandparents or great-grandparents. followd the war.
