Your numbers vary a bit from mine, but close enough.

I had 1939, only 38 ocean-going merchant ships with a total of about 290,000 tonnes, manned by approximately 1,450 Canadian seamen. From Canada's shipyards, from the first delivery in December 1941 to shortly after the war's end, 403 cargo ships, 281 escort ships (destroyers, corvettes, frigates), 206 minesweepers, 254 tugs, asnd 3,302 landing craft. They had the 4th largest navy at the war's end.
