Do you have any more info on the period after the disbanding of the AVG? I mean, it´s been rather difficult for me to find some really in depth stuff on the XIV Air Force.

Also, I read a while ago about American heavies operating against Burma as early as the beginning of 1943, and just to think of it I´m already fascinated; were they XIV or X AF? Any info that anyone knows of?
