That rarest of things; a book from Schiffer that goes straight into the hall of shame. Hagiographic, flowery, and so poorly written as to read like a translation from English.

It's great!
I know that guilty 'book sat on the shelf for years unread' feeling well. It was ok when it was mostly stuff from charity shops for a few quid, but since having kids there's a fair few feet of somewhat pricey, & yet still virgin, tomes that keep reminding me how slack I am in the reading of late.
(WW seems to think I should give them to him... pah!)
