Default Re: CMBO AAR vs. Tomcat

Here it is fellas! The first of two AARs.

The Combat in this one was intense at times, as shown my the sheer amount of casualties and burning wrecks. I concentrated my forces to the Right of the Map, using my Famed 88 to hold the left, which it did rather well.

This shot is where most of the killing took place: (Note both German and American dead troops in this shot - and the Jagdtiger in background):

Here we can see Axis forces on the move to the Left (from the Right) thus covering any approach to my Jagdtiger (offscreen).

Speaking of the Jagdtiger, here it is preparing for another kill (the Ceasefire saved this tank): 'Behind' the Jagdtiger some forces from the previous shot can be seen.

These next two shots show the view to the left of the Jagdtiger, and its protected flank.

These next to images are of Panzershrecks, Iron Cross winners, who accounted for two of the kills seen in the very first image (the AAR Report). A third American Tank was knocked out by a Panzergrenadier Squad operation in the same Platoon as these Panzershrecks:

Artillery (AAR Report) made massive damage but little effect on the highly decorated Platoon. German Artillery, smaller caliber, accounted for some kills too.

I end with the Knights Cross with Oak Leaves recipient. This first shot is the 'Killing Field', complete with three burning wrecks of American Tanks in the background. The 88 is well hidden in trees in the foreground.

And the man himself! This shot shows his camoflauge very well! No wonder so many Americans feel prey to his gun!
