Thanks for posting these and it is great you made the effort to save them.

I merged your posts with the documents. It will be easier for people to see them this way. Did I spell his name correctly? It looked like Arthur J. Milton to me. If not, let us know and we can change the thread title.

I did a similar thing with my wife's grandfather. We were cleaning out his house after he died and I noticed a paper bag pull of old newspapers. In it was newspapers from the war, letters he sent home and the telegram he sent, telling his family he was coming home. I was flabbergasted that they would throw this away. Needless to say, I saved it all.
