Same round here. Rosyth in Fife has allotments on the edge of town which are full of Anderson shelters being used as sheds!

Most of the bigger public shelters had Elsan chemical toilets inside them, and the end gable wall always had an 'emergency exit' comprised of a two foot square section of bricks laid with an over-sandy mortar; the idea was that a good hard kick would knock them out. Allegedly......
A lot of public shelters were built in the back gardens of flats (apartments), and still survive because they were converted into outbuildings postwar. There are lots in the neighbouring towns of Falkirk and Alloa because these were both heavy industry bases in wartime.
