The economics of maintaining a Lancaster in flying condition must be stupendous - I know that the cost of keeping the East Kirby Lancaster NX611 in taxi-able state are very high. The costs of acquiring and maintaining super-rare Axis aircraft are perhaps best left to the 'big boys' ( eg Nationally-funded museums or US collectors with extremely deep pockets - and even
they don't fly Lancasters !
